How do I care for my costume?

Basic Costume Care Instructions:

Frequency of use of these tools depends on how much use the costumes are getting.

Use and Instructions

Lint Roller Use this to remove dust, fabric, hair, and other superficial debis from the costume.
Lint Shaver (about $7 at most fabric stores) Use this to remove fabric "pills" or pills on elastic. Can drastically improve "worn out" look.
Sturdy, fine-toothed plastic comb Use this to clean out the sticky side of the Velcro
Enzyme-based spot remover Use this on spots or as a pretreatment for washing
Washing Instructions Hand wash gently in cold water. Do not use bleach. Dry using a clothes line or rack.

We do not recommend putting costumes in the washing machine or dryer.
